We hold your data carefully.

What we collect
To open and run your accident case we collect: your name, email, phone, mailing address, driver's license, vehicle details (VIN, year/make/model/mileage), insurance policy declarations and bill, accident details (date, location, narrative, photos), the offer and any documents you receive from carriers, your communications with adjusters that pass through your case-proxy email, and a record of every AI draft and your approval of it.
What we do with it
We use your data only to operate your case: draft your communications, compare your offer against market data, track your deadlines, generate demand letters, and route your case to a licensed professional if it needs one. We label every AI-drafted output as such and we never send anything on your behalf without your explicit approval.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal data with advertisers, affiliate partners, body shops, lawyers, or anyone else without your specific opt-in. We do not use your case content to train models that other customers' agents consume.
How long we keep it
Case-specific data (documents, communications, draft outputs) is deleted within 90 days after your case closes. Account-level data (your name, email, vehicle list, policy carrier) is retained until you delete the account, so a return visit doesn't require re-uploading everything.
You can request deletion of your account or specific records at any time. We will fulfill within 30 days, retaining only what we must under applicable law (e.g., financial records).
Identity verification (KYC)
We use Persona (a third-party identity verifier) at intake to confirm who you are. Persona has its own privacy policy that applies to that step. We absorb the cost of verification — you're not charged for it.
Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies for authentication and to remember your case progress. We do not use third-party advertising trackers on logged-in pages. Marketing pages may use privacy-preserving analytics (e.g., Plausible-style aggregate tracking) — never cross-site tracking.
State-specific rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, or any other US state with a comprehensive privacy statute, you have the right to access, correct, port, and delete your personal information, and to opt out of any "sale" or "share" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not engage in those practices, but we honor the request mechanisms regardless. Email privacy@claimoe.com.
Affiliate offers
After a case closes we may surface offers from auto loan, insurance shopping, or replacement vehicle partners. These offers are always labeled Sponsored. We never hand your data to a partner without your specific opt-in to do so.
Children
Claimoe is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
